RT News London on Libya: “This is Not A No fly Zone. This is the Bombardment of Civilians By Allied Forces.”

“Barack Obama has now fired more cruise missiles than all other Nobel Peace prize winners combined http://t.co/MnaXVe1 “

US Lawmakers Back Libya Military Action. They’re Just Not Sure What It Is.

March 2011 has brought Americans yet another dire omen of political and foreign policy ill winds to come: we are now inching toward becoming embroiled in Libya, against all better common sense and judgment. I do not agree with Sarah Palin on this one. Sometimes you just have to let these nations work out their own destinies without sticking your foreign policy fingers and your overbearing cruise missiles into the mix, thus making it all potentially much worse.

Anymore, what we used to call “foreign policy” in America has seemingly become just one long intellectual justification for the U.S. military machine to do whatever the hell it wants to, whenever and where ever it wants to.

Whatever happened to the will and consent of the American people in all this? It’s our money that’s being spent here.

While the US military rained down at least 100 cruise missiles onto Libya, causing more than 60 civilian casualties, Barack Obama gave a speech on human rights in Brazil. The resulting utter political and humane cognitive dissonance was loud enough to be heard back in the states all the way from South America.

As the Obama White House adds yet another overseas military Op to it’s list of “things to do when you are utterly bankrupt”, it seems more and more that the US does not exactly “go to war” in a definitive manner anymore. We just kind of kick around, hands in pockets, muse it all over, then more or less sort of “stumble in”, and fall into some kind of rote in so doing that makes me really wonder not only who’s really in charge, but what kind of thinking allows that in the shape we are in financially here at home, what orchard where money grows on trees are we now plucking from now to justify the cost of yet another military intervention?

I am sick over this, just sick over it. I am sick of death, and men and their ridiculous wars, and the insane justifications that are conjured up each time our military does this. We literally can’t afford to do this. I avoided reporting on it for a week because I just COULD NOT BELIEVE that in the wake of Iraq, that we were going to crank up yet another overseas military involvement. Our miserable UN assigned “job” as the world’s military police force has bankrupted our nation, cost thousands of precious young American lives, and is now soon to incite world war three in the Mideast if we don’t stop this.

If we are now going to intervene in Libya, it would stand to reason we would then intervene throughout the entire Mideast region. Nothing makes sense anymore.

Just the mere thought of Barack Obama making a speech in Brazil on human rights as US military intervention cranks up in Libya makes me ill with the utter sight of the duplicity of it all. I have never wanted a man OUT of the White House like I want this man OUT. It goes without saying that this is the most disastrous president I have seen in my lifetime. 2012 cannot get here fast enough for me. Vote this incompetent SOB out of the White House in 2012 before he leads us straight into a final nuclear conflagration in the Mideast that could spread all around the world.

An Irate Donald Trump Warns Economic Collapse Is Coming

6 Feb

Copyright 2011-3011 Chase Kyla Hunter, Reposted Courtesy of The Economic Collapse Blog

A few weeks ago I listened to Sean Hannity interview “the Donald,” aka Donald Trump on his radio show, and Mr. Trump was queried several times during the interview as to whether he was considering a presidential run in 2012. Trump replied that it certainly was not out of the question. His commentary on our present position in the world, and the grotesque mismanagement of our foreign policy was “spot on”. Based on what we have had to endure for “presidential leadership” over the past several decades, I personally believe we could do alot worse than Trump. He has the business brilliance, if any man does, to turn the country around and get it headed in the right direction again. He would be a formidable foe in foreign policy, he most likely has an aptitude for military strategy that would surpass Clinton or Bush, as every business person can tell you that business, at the very top level, is a type of war, and cunning strategic thinking is a prerequisite for success. Trump would bring his personal fortune to bear upon his campaign war chest, and if elected he would bring some much needed respect back to the nation. I am intrigued that he recently made an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show with all five of his adult children. This is a shot over the bow, folks. Donald Trump is serious about running for office.

Even Donald Trump Is Warning That An Economic Collapse Is Coming

In a shocking new interview, Donald Trump has gone farther than he ever has before in discussing a potential economic collapse in America. Using phrases such as “you’re going to pay $25 for a loaf of bread pretty soon” and “we could end up being another Egypt“, Trump explained to Newsmax that he is incredibly concerned about the direction our economy is headed. Whatever you may think of Donald Trump on a personal level, it is undeniable that he has been extremely successful in business. As one of the most prominent businessmen in America, he is absolutely horrified about what is happening to this nation. In fact, he is so disturbed about the direction that this country is heading that he is seriously considering running for president in 2012. But whether he decides to run in 2012 or not, what Trump is now saying about the U.S. economy should be a huge wake up call for all of us.Trump says that the U.S. government is broke, that all of our jobs are being shipped overseas, that other nations are heavily taking advantage of us and that the value of the U.S. dollar is being destroyed. The following interview with Trump was originally posted on Newsmax and it is really worth watching….Now, you may or may not think much of Donald Trump as a politician, but when a businessman of his caliber starts using apocalyptic language to describe where the U.S. economy is headed perhaps we should all pay attention. The following are 12 key quotes that were pulled out of Trump’s new interview along with some facts and statistics that show that what Trump is saying is really happening.

#1 “If oil prices are allowed to inflate and keep inflating, if the dollar keeps going down in value, I think there’s a very distinct possibility that things could get worse.”

Donald Trump is exactly right – we are headed for big trouble if we continue to allow the Federal Reserve to pump hundreds of billions of new dollars into the system. As I have written about previously, all of this new money will give us the illusion of short-term economic growth and it will pump up the stock market, but in the end all of the inflation the new money is gong to cause is going to be very painful. Just look at how rapidly M1 has been skyrocketing over the last couple of years. Is there any way that we are going to be able to avoid paying a very serious price for all of this reckless money printing?….Already all of this money printing has had a very serious affect on world financial markets. The price of agricultural commodities is skyrocketing and the price of oil has almost reached $100 a barrel once again. The last time that the price of oil soared above $100 a barrel was in the early part of 2008, and we all remember the horrific financial collapse that followed in the fall of 2008.#2 “….you’re going to pay $25 for a loaf of bread pretty soon. Look at what’s happening with our food prices. They’re going through the roof. We could end up being another Egypt. You could have riots in our streets also.”

The price of corn has risen 88 percent over the past year and the price of wheat has soared a whopping 114 percent over the past year. Let’s hope that we don’t have to pay $25 for a loaf of bread in the United States any time soon, but in some areas of the world that is what it now feels like.

Approximately 3 billion people in the world today live on the equivalent of $2 a day or less, and most of that money ends up getting spent on food. When food prices go up 10 or 20 percent in deeply impoverished areas of the globe, suddenly the lives of millions are threatened. The riots that we have seen in Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and other nations recently were not entirely caused by rising food prices, but they were certainly a big factor.

#3 “I think gold will go up as long as people don’t have confidence in our president and our country. And they don’t have confidence in our president.”

Investors run to gold and other precious metals when they don’t feel secure. We saw that happen a lot in 2010. As confidence in the paper currencies and the financial systems of the world has rapidly diminished, precious metals have become increasingly attractive.

In fact, the price of gold has doubled since the beginning of the economic downturn in 2007. As the global financial situation continues to become more unstable, the demand for precious metals is likely only going to become more intense.

#4 “The banks have really let us down. Number one, they did some bad things and caused some bad problems. Number two, if you have something that you want to buy, like a house, they’re generally not there for you.”

Banks were given massive bailouts with the understanding that they would open up the vaults and start lending money to average Americans again.

Well, that has not happened.

In particular, it has become much, much harder to get a mortgage in the United States today. Not that the big banks didn’t need to make changes to their lending practices, but things have gotten so tight now that it is choking the real estate market to death.

#5 “I see $3.50 for a gallon of gas for cars, and cars are lined up trying to get it and it’s $3.50. It’s a shame, a ridiculous shame.”

Our lack of a cohesive energy policy is a national disgrace. There is no way in the world that a gallon of gas should be $3.50 a gallon.

The U.S. has massive reserves of oil and natural gas that it should be using. In addition, the lack of progress on developing alternative energy sources in light of our sickening dependence on foreign oil is very puzzling. We should be very far along towards solving our energy problems by this point.

Meanwhile, we keep pouring billions into the pockets of foreign oil barons every single month. Unfortunately, Trump was exactly correct in the interview – if something is not done the price of gas is going to keep going higher.

#6 “I think the biggest threat is that our jobs are being stolen by other countries. We’re not going to have any jobs here pretty soon.”

Donal Trump is one of the few prominent leaders that is openly speaking the truth about the predatory economic practices of some of our “trading partners”. Most of our politicians have just kept endlessly promising us that free trade is “good for us” even as tens of thousands of factories and millions upon millions of jobs have been shipped overseas.

Back in 1970, 25 percent of all jobs in the United States were manufacturing jobs. Today, only 9 percent of the jobs in the United States are manufacturing jobs.

Yes, computers and robots have replaced a lot of manual labor today, but technology does not account for most of the decline we have seen in manufacturing.

n 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of all U.S. economic output. In 2008, it represented only 11.5 percent. Meanwhile, manufacturing in the “developing world” has absolutely exploded.

#7 “We’re like a whipping post for other countries. We are standing there and just being beaten by South Korea, by Mexico, by China, by India.”

Most Americans have absolutely no idea how lopsided many of our “trade agreements” actually are. Other nations openly manipulate their currencies in order to keep their exports dirt cheap and we allow it. Other nations openly subsidize their domestic industries that are directly competing with businesses in the United States and we don’t complain. Other nations make it incredibly difficult for American companies to do business in their countries while we allow foreign corporations to come on in and do pretty much whatever they want here.

Then there are certain nations (such as China) that brazenly rip off trade secrets from foreign corporations time after time after time and never get penalized for it.

Meanwhile, our economy continues to bleed jobs at a staggering pace. The number of net jobs gained by the U.S. economy during this past decade was smaller than during any other decade since World War 2.

Fortunately, more Americans than ever seem to be waking up and are realizing that globalism is causing many of these problems. A NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll conducted last year discovered that 69 percent of Americans now believe that free trade agreements have cost America jobs.

#8 “All of our jobs are going to China. We’re rebuilding China and other places.”

China is doing great. China is now the number one producer in the world of wind and solar power. They now possess the fastest supercomputer on the entire globe. China also now has the world’s fastest train and the world’s biggest high-speed rail network.

Most Americans don’t realize that China is literally kicking the crap out of us.

Back in 1998, the United States had 25 percent of the world’s high-tech export market and China had just 10 percent. Ten years later, the United States had less than 15 percent and China’s share had soared to 20 percent.

Every single month we buy about 4 times as much stuff from them as they buy from us. Our trade deficit with China has ballooned to enormous proportions. In fact, the U.S. trade deficit with China during this past August was more than 4,600 times larger than the U.S. trade deficit with China was for the entire year of 1985.

So when Donald Trump says that we are rebuilding China he is not joking around.

Nobel economist Robert W. Fogel of the University of Chicago is projecting that the Chinese economy will be three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040 if current trends continue.

Yes, that is how serious things have become.

#9 “We are a laughingstock throughout the world.”

Donald Trump has said on several occasions that his friends and business partners in China just laugh and laugh at us. They can’t even believe what they are getting away with.

We have become an incompetent giant that is the butt of all the jokes.

According to Stanford University economics professor Ed Lazear, if the U.S. economy and the Chinese economy continue to grow at current rates, the average Chinese citizen will be wealthier than the average American citizen in just 30 years.

Our formerly great industrial cities are slowly becoming ghost towns. The number of long-term unemployed Americans is at an all-time high. Tens of millions of Americans can’t even survive without government assistance anymore. The number of Americans on food stamps set a new all-time record every single month during 2010, and now well over 43 million Americans are enrolled in the program.

We really have become a joke.

#10 “The federal government has no money.”

Unfortunately, our federal government has continued to borrow and spend like there is no tomorrow.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the U.S. government will have the biggest budget deficit ever recorded (approximately 1.5 trillion dollars) this year.

So much for fiscal discipline, eh?

It is being projected that the U.S. national debt will increase by $150,000 per U.S. household between 2009 and 2021.

Do you have an extra $150,000 to contribute for your share?

By 2015 our national debt will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 trillion dollars.

It is the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world by far, and it is the gift that we are going to pass down to future generations of Americans.

If there are any future generations of Americans.

#11 “I hate what is happening to this country.”

We should all hate what is happening to this country. Our economic guts are being ripped out, we are being abused by the rest of the world, America’s infrastructure is being sold off piece by piece, our federal government is drowning in debt, our state governments are drowning in debt and our local governments are drowning in debt.

The only way we can even keep going is to run around to the rest of the world and beg them to keep lending us more money.

The mainstream media keeps proclaiming that we are the greatest economy on earth, but the truth is that we are being transformed into a pathetic loser and our politicians are just standing there with their hands in their pockets letting it happen.

All red-blooded Americans should be horrified by what is happening to this nation. We have been betrayed by corrupt and incompetent leaders. As a nation, we have become fat, lazy and stupid.

Hopefully what Donald Trump and others are saying about a coming economic collapse will serve as a huge wake up call and the sleeping giant will arise once again.

If the sleeping giant does not arise, we are in a massive amount of trouble, because right now the road we are on is leading to the biggest economic collapse the world has ever seen.

Sarah Palin ponders her prospects for 2012

Update Jan.20th 2011:

What a difference one month and a lunatic massacre makes.

I have entered the  ongoing melee of American political reporting as a citizen journalist in the way that someone might stroll through the doors of a saloon, just to whet their whistle, maybe to get out of the noonday heat, then look up to realize that they are standing right in the middle of a wild west shoot-out, chairs and bodies flying, gunshots ringing to the ceiling, shattered glass smashing. The bartender is knuckled on hands and knees on the floor behind the counter, praying.

So much for getting a civilized gin and tonic. So much for civilized discourse these days on just about anything. Here I am, standing in the middle of the saloon, innocent, just having walked through the doors to escape the noonday heat, and get a drink. Now I feel I have to either fight for my life, or flee. That’s just about exactly what it feels like trying to blog about anything political in the present atmosphere of America in 2011. Now especially since the Loughner massacre, things are tense, the political discourse routinely untrue and rancid.

Now more than ever good solid citizen journalists with a keen eye for spotting and identifying media bias are needed. Without them, actual reporting and truthful accounting of events as they transpire may soon actually disappear in America. The open warfare between left and right wing media outlets threatens to ruin what’s left of journalism, and threatens to disenfranchise the intelligent reading mainstream such that I might be publishing my own print media newspaper soon out of sheer necessity. One of the top ten signs of emerging fascism is the disappearance of a free press. What else would you call what we are all seeing today in America, but that very thing?

About one month ago I wrote an essay [which appears below this update ] which reflected on a December 2010 poll on Sarah Palin’s chances in 2012. The December 28th 2010 WSJ poll showed Sarah Palin beating Barack Obama by a nose in 2012. The Obama White House media, popularly known as “MSNBC” has refuted this poll, claiming instead that Obama led Palin by a whopping 22% in December 2010. Lies, Lies, lies.

Anymore one must read at least a dozen news stories then divide the opinions by 12 to get something that might possibly resemble the truth. I call this “media discernment math.” Then came Loughner in the first week of 2011, right after the dead birds omen. Then came the left wing accusatory media melee which stooped so low as to associate Loughner’s motivations for the shooting with right wing political rhetoric, the kind of talk I have been hearing all my life since the advent of talk radio in the 1980s, the kind of speech that often comes from Fox News, and from Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh, or Michael Savage in today’s TV media: nothing more or less than political talk that we hear every day, and nothing different than the conservative talk radio speeches and opinions voiced daily since the mid 1980s.

Then came the out all public fist fight between the left and the right in America, hair flying, right in the middle of the agony and mourning for what lunatic Jared Loughner had done in Arizona. And finally, then came the bizarre Obama led “Memorial Service” with a completely inappropriate lead-off speech by a rambling Native American, an Arizona local, who talked about himself mostly. His eulogy had the air of being more appropriate as the welcome speech for a summer Pow Wow than any grieving commentary for 6 massacred murder victims. [ Put that egg down. I am Cherokee, I’m a public speaker, and I know a “self involved rant” when I hear one ].

In the current poll tally from about 9,400 voters Palin wins currently by 51.3% to 48.7% over Obama.

That fact should have the Palin haters gnashing their teeth and hurling their ipads and smartphones to the floor in rage. Poor far left techno-babies. This upcoming election in 2012 would be the horse race to end all races, politically speaking, if Sarah does choose to run.

I would not put anything past the DNC in 2012 to keep the White House, what with it’s very public political bruised ego on display for all to see right now. Oh what a difference a few minutes of good internet research could have made yesterday to prohibit even further shredding of the reputation and credibility of the Democratic party’s far left wing ringside circus of hyprocrisy and laughably poor journalism. In fact, yesterday’s NWO “feast of lies” which spewed across the web, as over-reacting, ill-informed Big media portals jumped on the bandwagon to attack Sarah Palin‘s political target map, would not have taken place at all had more people known that the DNC has their own “target map” for political strategy.

As long as I can remember, in my 55 good years, politicians have ALWAYS used words like “target” “attack” “pinpoint” “crosshairs”  “shot him down” and so forth in their day to day vernacular, and have used a variety of other colorful slang terms and phrases as well, to describe the process of trying to get elected and stay in office. here are just a few of those phrases:

slinging mud

threw him /her under the bus

stomped on the reputation of

shredded the opponent’s argument

fired back at his / her opponnent

attack ads [ TV ]

fired away at her / his opponent

such and such was under fire today for

[ I could go on and on ]

Barack Obama to an audience in a recent speech: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we’ll bring a gun.”

The common day to day slang and typical “election year” vernacular of popular politics contains some graphic slang phrases and it always has, going as far back as the first presidential election ever held, I’m quite sure. It is a weak, puerile, and very desperate argument on the part of liberal TV pundits and left wing polticians to attempt to associate Sarah Palin’s rhetoric or her use of graphics as some inference that her language is in any way more violent than that which Nixon used, or Bush supporters, or the Clintons, or any other American politician at any time in US history. All it really reveals is the moral bankruptcy of the left wing of the DNC, the absolute desperation of left wing fake news outlets like MSNBC to get some sort of new angle they can use to try to tear down Sarah Palin and put a stop to her ascendancy as one of the most popular new faces in American politics.

Only someone with the mentality and education of a grade schooler would try to portray Sarah Palin’s use of crosshairs in a political conquest map as some sort of veiled insinuation that violence is being advocated. Check your political history books, check your pulse, your IQ monitor and your ability to think clearly and reason like grown men and women please: tha’ts my message to the left wing big media outlets who now have a healthy helping of egg on their faces all around.

Glenn Beck has reiterated his support for TV celebrity and conservative politico Tea Party leader Sarah Palin today. In a recent email exchange with Sarah, which Glenn read live on his TV segment he said:

“Sarah, as you know, peace is always the answer. I know you are felling the same heat, if not much more on this,” Beck wrote Palin in an e-mail, which he read on-air during his radio program Monday.

“I want you to know you have my full support,” Beck told Palin. “You are always in my thoughts and prayers.”

“There are nutjobs on all sides,” Beck said. “Tomorrow I am issuing a challenge to reject all violence. If people really believe Americans can become some version of al Qaeda, I will not stand in the shadows as too many overseas did after 9/11. Terror is terror. I don’t care if it’s for Allah or for your party, you are not a freedom fighter, but a killer. There is a difference between a hard-fought political battle and violence … It’s time for politics to stop and sanity to begin.”

Palin responded, “I hate violence. I hate war. Our children will not have peace if politicos just capitalize on this to succeed in portraying anyone as inciting terror and violence. Thanks for all you do to send the message of truth and love and God as the answer.”

Jared Lee Loughner Guns Down Nineteen, Kills Six, at Tuscon Arizona Political Event

US DNC Congressional representative Gabrielle Gifford was shot through the head yesterday while giving a speech at a local political event at a Safeway grocery store in Tuscon Arizona. The 22 year old shooter’s name is Jared Lee Loughner. Loughner knew who Gifford was, and had questioned her 3 years ago at a press conference and did not like her reply. Had he been stalking her all this time in secret? How old was his vendetta toward Gifford?

Although this event took place yesterday on January 8th 2011, I am just now bringing myself to try to post about it today. I am sick unto death of reading news  about mentally ill wing nuts of every age, religion, ethnicity and justification, who “go off ” with guns blazing, and begin killing people at random; all because they have some undiagnosed bi-polar or schizophrenic disorder, and their family, school, church, relatives, close friends and local community all have failed to notice the terrible glaring warning signals in time to avert disaster. Apparently, in a moment of pure schizophrenic glee right before the shooting, Loughner donned a red G-String and posed for the camera with the Glock held close to his privates, then sent the film off to Walgreen’s to be processed without thinking twice about it. That’s a snapshot of the actual mental condition this man was in right before he shot Gabrielle Gifford: in a word, “very far gone”.

This is not a new story, only the most recent installment of “America’s mentally ill” gone over the cliff en masse, harming, maiming and killing their own friends and neighbors. I’m sick of reading about it, sick and tired of writing about it, and if I had to cover every” mentally ill shooting and killing event” as it occurs this blog would be one long recitation of all the people America’s mentally ill citizens had murdered in the last twenty years.

It has been roughly twenty years since a general lack of love, care, concern and lack of state or federal funding has resulted in dozens of mental hospitals closing in numerous states, and literally hundreds and hundreds of mentally ill youth, adults and seniors being dumped onto the streets and byways of America, left to wander in homeless camps, push grocery carts down the streets of “any city USA”, where you will always find at least 2, 3, 20 or even 200 or more of these people living on the dark and ragged edges of American small town life. They often die at the hands of one another. They frequently snap like Jared did and shoot and kill their neighbors. Jared was a mentally disturbed loner, and a ticking time bomb. No one paid enough attention to the warning signs, and he exploded yesterday, taking six lives and leaving Gabrielle Gifford fighting for her mind, life and future in an ICU ward.

There is nothing yet known about Jared’s story which is any more noteworthy than the fact that currently our most significant gross national product in 2011 seems to be increasing numbers of mentally deranged young white men, whom no one can identify or control in time to stop them from killing sprees that cripple the heart of the nation in agony and grief.

While the politically sick and deranged USA big media outlets shamelessly use this sad and tragic event as the freshest new excuse to attack the Tea Party and Sarah Palin, stopping so low that I most likely will never turn on a TV set again, stunned American patriots on FB and Twitter are turning to one another and trying to console a country already staggering under the weight of so many heart breaking events that one wonders how much more we can all take. Sarah Palin released a statement today on the shooting, and it had been re-tweeted 18,990 times in just a few hours. That says more about how much this country loves Sarah Palin than all the wicked left wing TV pundits put together. I sometimes believe they hate her just because she is so beloved by so many in this country who see her as a ray of hope in a rotten and completely rancid, corrupted political world.

For the pathetic liberal left wing “blamers” and media pundits who have all tried to pin this man’s actions on the influence of the Tea Party or even Sarah Palin herself [ who sadly seems to be emerging as the pre-selected target of choice by the White House controlled left wing media as a”national scapegoat” anytime anything happens at all, whether it’s her daughter’s brief career on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ or the wild loose cannon Loughner who killed at random yesterday ] I would point out that Loughner was about as far left wing anarchist communist pro-Hitler socialist as you can get. So the left wing anarchist shoots down the liberal Arizona democrat that voted for Obamacare. Does that make any political sense to anyone at all? there’s more to discover here. We are not in possession of enough information to really understand Loughner or his motive, which could have been something as simple as a need for attention acted out in the darkest of manners. It has happened before.

The Daily Caller reported that he listed The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as two of his favorite books on YouTube.”

So we now know the killer loved communism and he loved Adolf Hitler. What does that really tell us? Not much. There are also some indications that Loughner may have had connections to an anti-Semitic hate group. Gifford was Jewish. Other warning signs about the stability or lack thereof of Jared Loughner were all there. At Pima County Community College after high school he unnerved classmates and his teachers with non-sensical outbursts:

“After high school, Loughner attended Pima Community College in Arizona. School officials asked him to leave the school after a “disturbing” video post on the internet, and said he could only return after he had been seen by a mental health professional. One of his college classmates described to The Guardian as an “obviously very disturbed” student who “disrupted class frequently with nonsensical outbursts.”

“I always felt, you know, somewhat paranoid,” Ben McGahee, who taught Loughner elementary algebra at Pima Community College last summer, said to The Washington Post. “When I turned my back to write on the board, I would always turn back quickly–to see if he had a gun.”
